Sarah Moore earned a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa. She also obtained an MA in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from Azusa Pacific University while teaching English in China. Her teaching career began in 1999 in Henan, China. She taught there for two years and then moved back to the United States and spent some time teaching English as a second language to adults in the community. She has been teaching at Iowa State University since 2009. Moore loves the academic environment, which involves new learning experiences and opportunities each semester. Her motto for life is, “Live with no regrets.” She loves to push herself to try new things and grab hold of opportunities that will expand her experience base.
